SKOPJE 2025: A FESTIVAL OF SPORT AND SOLIDARITY
Skopje, known as the City of Solidarity, will proudly host the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) from 20-26th July 2025. As the 16th city to host the summer edition, Skopje will join an exclusive list of 25 European countries that have hosted the prestigious event. North Macedonia, along with Kumanovo and Croatia, will welcome athletes, coaches, and supporters to celebrate youth, sport, and unity across Europe.
UNITING EUROPE THROUGH SPORT
- The EYOF inspires young athletes from 48 European nations to push their limits in 15 diverse sports, fostering passion and teamwork.
- With a focus on the Olympic values of friendship, fair competition, and mutual respect, the festival provides a unique platform for athletes aged 14-18 to experience the spirit of the Olympics early in their careers.
- Skopje 2025 will see over 4000 participants and 800 volunteerscome together, making it one of the largest youth sporting events in Europe.

For more than 30 years, the European Youth Olympic Festival has been a stepping stone for young athletes, helping them prepare for future success on the world’s biggest stages. The EYOF plays a crucial role in promoting healthy lifestyles and the values of Olympism while giving these athletes an international platform to showcase their talent.
